What is MCS?

The Constellation Specialist is not just a certification — it is permanent recognition as a shaper of the MOMENTUM framework.

Delivered MOMENTUM at enterprise scale across multiple organisations or industries

Made a published contribution to the framework (research, methodology, tooling, or community infrastructure)

Been nominated by 3 MCM+ holders

Received a community vote (open to all certified professionals)

Been approved by the MOMENTUM Certification Council

Process

How MCS Works

You cannot apply. You are nominated, reviewed, and voted in.

Nomination

You must be nominated by 3 MCM+ holders. Self-nominations are not accepted. Nominations open annually in Q3.

Published Contribution

You must have at least one published contribution to the MOMENTUM framework: a research paper, a published methodology extension, an open-source tool, or significant community infrastructure.

Council Review

The MOMENTUM Certification Council reviews all nominees. They assess the quality and impact of your contribution, your community standing, and your delivery track record.

Community Vote

Shortlisted nominees are put to a public vote open to all certified MOMENTUM professionals (MCP+). The vote runs for 14 days. Community sentiment is a significant factor.

Induction

The top nominees are inducted as MCS at the annual MOMENTUM Summit. The ceremony is public. Each new Constellation receives a unique blockchain-verified token and permanent registry entry.

Recognition

MCS Recognition

Permanent Status

Unlike all other MOMENTUM certifications, MCS cannot expire and does not require renewal. Once inducted, you are a Constellation Specialist for life. The only exception is voluntary surrender or proven misconduct.

Framework Shaper

MCS holders are eligible to join the MOMENTUM Certification Council, co-author framework versions, and vote on new certification standards. Your name is in the framework history.

Global Recognition

MCS holders receive permanent recognition in the MOMENTUM Registry, the annual report, and all official framework documentation. Your contribution is credited in the framework.
